  1. Quest of the Hero II (Ver 1.01)

  4. The sequel of the popular Quest of the Hero game is finally released! The 
  5. game is a mix of turn-based Heroes of Might and Magic kind strategy and RPG. 
  6. There are lots of improvements and additional features in the game engine. 
  7.  
  8. The major of them are:
  9.  
  10. ╖ Absolutely new amazing graphics. New terrains including show and desert, 
  11.   redesigned monsters, battle background pictures, new interface. 
  12.  
  13. ╖ Absolutely new 70x70 adventure map to explore.
  14.  
  15. ╖ New objects on the map and more places to visit such as castles, towns, 
  16.   gates, creature hire places.
  17.  
  18. ╖ Teleporters.
  19.  
  20. ╖ Ability to buy/sell any creatures.
  21.  
  22. ╖ Spells and battle magic. There are lots of spells which have different 
  23.   strength and level. 
  24.  
  25. ╖ Quests, which could be are called by Castle Kings, City Majors and other 
  26.   characters. Complete them to get some more experience and gold.
  27.  
  28. ╖ You will find some special items during your quests. They could be weapons, 
  29.   magic books or amulets that increase (or decrease!) the battle attributes of 
  30.   some of your creatures. Special items may affect only certain type of 
  31.   creatures. They are stored in your bag, or you can save them on the castleÆs 
  32.   chests.

  34. ╖ RPG style of adjusting Hero's characteristics when Hero achieves higher 
  35.   levels.

  37. ╖ Ability to store and play multiple maps, each with their own set of save 
  38.   games. Using the Quest II MapEditor (will be available soon), third parties 
  39.   can create and publish their own maps running on the Quest II engine.

  70. Before the installation make sure that your device complies with the System 
  71. Requirements.

  73. ╖ Remove previously installed version

  75. ╖ Unpack the package you downloaded to any directory.

  77. ╖ If you have a true-color display install the following files:
  78.     questII.prc and the_revenge.pdb
  79.  
  80.   If you have a 256-color display, install the following files:
  81.     questII256.prc and the_revenge.pdb
  82.  
  83.   If you have a 16 shades of grey display, install the following files:
  84.     questII16grey.prc and the_revenge.pdb
  85.  
  86.   Normally, you just need to double click each of the files.

  90. Attention for all Sony Clie Users.

  92. Quest II does not support the High Resolution, therefore for correct work of 
  93. the program on Sony Clie it is necessary to start it in the Low Resolution 
  94. (160x160) mode.

  98. ╖ If you use High Resolution Assist, start it, go to Prefs/HiRes and mark 
  99.   QuestII in the list of programs.

  101. ╖ If you use Switch Dash, start it, press the Add button, in the list of 
  102.   programs find Quest II and once again press Add.
